My name is James, and I am a TEFL-certified English teacher with a background in information technology, education, and aviation.

I was born in England in the 1990s and moved to Melbourne, Australia, in the early 2000s. My academic interests have always centered around geography and science, particularly physics. After graduating from high school, I pursued a Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Swinburne University, completing my degree in 2018.

My first experience with teaching was in 2014 when I volunteered as an English and Science teacher in Cambodia. This experience sparked an ongoing passion for education. I spent several years working in the IT industry, assisting organizations with leadership, mentoring, and the development of training materials. In 2024, I made the decision to transition into full time professional teaching and becoming an TEFL-certified English teacher, bringing my expertise in communication and instructional design into the classroom.

Beyond my professional background, I have a strong interest in aviation. I was involved in Boy Scouts before joining the Air Force Cadets, where I gained experience flying light aircraft and outdoor survival skills. I have also traveled extensively, visiting countries across Asia, Europe, North America, and Australia. Additionally, I enjoy working on motorcycles, exploring new places, and following developments in space exploration. My interests in travelling to exciting places, science and engineering are reflected in my favorite films and television series, including Impossible Engineering, Stargate, and MythBusters.
